ADOBE INDESIGN - Intro
This course is designed to give you better understanding of Adobe InDesign and help you feel more confident with approaching the programmes and building further on your knowledge.It will help you grasp the fundamentals of the page layout text in InDesign. It will give you good footing into how to synthesise other Adobe programs such Photoshop, and Illustrator for basic graphic design and home publishing needs.

ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR - Intro
This course will help you understand core concepts of vector graphics. You will master the Pen Tool, effectively edit paths, work with colours, design professional Logos, an export designs for web and print

You don’t need any existing knowledge of the software; only basic PC or Mac skills are required. 

 

If you already have a basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, there are also Intermediate and Advanced Adobe Illustrator courses.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP - Intro
This introduction course covers some of the basic and more commonly used features of Adobe Photoshop so that attendees can navigate the software and use Photoshop's tools to work with digital images.

  • Gain an understanding of storing, managing and accessing your digital files.

  • Understand image size, resolution and colour modes

  • Create and modify selections

  • Work with layers, layer groups, styles and blending modes

  • Use common image retouching tools and filters

  • Output images from Photoshop

Students do not need any experience of digital imaging or photography as anything that is required will be covered by the course. However, all students should have basic computer skills and know how to launch applications, browse to locate files and have good keyboard and mouse skill.

PAPER PROTOTYPING FOR UX
Learn the basics of effective paper prototyping a website or an App and how to create a prototype for end user interaction that simulates different states, as well acting on as success and failure of the prototypes.​​

Understand the fundamentals of building paper prototypes.

 

  • Organise pages into a sitemap and link between pages.

  • Build simple and complex, condition-based interactions.

This course is designed for those aspiring to becoming information architects, user experience designers, visual designers and product leads who dream up digital products and want to explore ideas and communicate complex as well as  subtle interactions.

INTRODUCTION TO UX DESIGN
This UX course provides an introduction to the fields of UX research and design. Learners will gain an understanding of what is involved in UX research, including conducting interviews, evaluating systems, and analysing systems using principles of good design.

No formal prior learning is required, but you would need to have some background in design.
